FOR THE CULTURE is the newest show on Talk of the Streetz Network, and the new voice of Black Liberation, hosted by incarcerated authors and activists, K.I.N.G. Quent and Lord Serious. Each week our panel will speak Truth to Power, discussing issues in politics, economics, culture and everything else concerning the state of Black America. Mission & Aims

Umoja Nation is a nonprofit organization established to facilitate cooperation among the various groups, movements, organizations, businesses and individual efforts existing within the Black community of the United States and all over the planet Earth.

Our aims include (but are not limited to):

  • the establishment of an independent political party
  • the establishment of an independent educational system
  • the acquisition of land to be used for national development
  • the abolition of the prison industrial complex
  • the implementation of a strategic economic plan that utilizes Black dollars to solve Black problems.

We believe that these aims will be best achieved by developing National Consciousness, Community Control and Peace among our people. We will do this by utilizing the Seven Principles (Nguzo Saba) of unity, self-determination, cooperative economics, collective work and responsibility, purpose, creativity and faith as our foundation and guide.

We believe that with unity of consciousness (who we are), unity of aims (what we are trying to do) and unity of agenda (how to do it) we will secure a better future for our children and generations to come.
